With a career spanning many years, James brings a wealth of experience working with government agencies, local councils, and facilities management organisations, including the Department for Education, Department of Infrastructure and Transport, Ventia, Department of Treasury and Finance, SA Health and City of Port Adelaide Enfield. He is highly skilled across all project phases, with a growing focus on public realm and adaptive reuse – areas that reflect his commitment to thoughtful, sustainable design.
Since joining SMFA through our amalgamation, James has become a valued leader known for his calm, considered approach and quiet determination. His passion for environmental sustainability and mentorship has had a lasting impact on both our projects and people, shaping the next generation of architects and helping drive positive change in our design practices.
